About Kilmarnock Real Estate
Kilmarnock is the largest town in the Northern Neck and is expanding more all the time. Recently the downtown area has gone through a make over. The sidewalks are now pavers with street lamps that resemble those of an earlier era. First Fridays have become a favorite activity when friends and neighbors fill the streets.

Every first Friday of the month, between May and October, the historic Steptoe's District of Kilmarnock, VA hosts a popular "Walkabout" to celebrate the laid back Rivah life. Residents of the town and neighboring areas stroll the streets enjoying live music, browsing the boutiques and perusing the local art galleries. The official event lasts until 7 PM, but you're sure to find a good time rolling much later just down the street at Savannah Joe's BBQ. Every Friday evening they have live music, and they're sure to book a good show when it's a Steptoe's First Friday!
